Ebola: House of Reps seek compensation for health worker's family


The House of Representatives has urged federal and state governments concerned to compensate the families of late Dr.Stella Adadevo and other health workers, who died of the Ebola virus disease.

A lawmaker, Olajumoke Okoya-Thomas, during a Tuesday seating, said that the gallant and patriotic role played by Dr. Adedevoh and her team in curbing the spread of the disease in Nigeria deserved to be rewarded.

The house also observed a moment of silence in their honour and urged Nigerian government immortalized the late doctor by naming a medical institution after her.

They also commended thee federal and state government for the effective action taken to halt the spread of the disease.
