The marital issues between Pastor Chris Oyakhilome and his wife Rev. Anita just got messy with Mr Oyakhilome now removed as trustee of the United Kingdom branch of the church.
With Mr Oyakhilome's removal, his wife Rev Anita, now presides over a seven-man Board of Trustee of the N8.2 billion branch. The six other members are said to be loyal to her.
Rev Anita has for long headed the UK branch of the church, when the going was good between her and her husband. Until his removal, her husband had since inception, presided over the Board of Trustee.
Documents filed by the church's UK branch to
the Charity Commission Of England and Whales, now shows that Mr Oyakhilome is no longer a registered trustee of the UK branch with total asset worth N8.2 billion.
For now, no reason has been given for the removal of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome.
Recently, Pastor Chris described his wife as a "bitter and angry" woman who is being influenced by bad friends who are out to see to his downfall. He accused his wife of trying to overpower the authorities of the elders she met in the ministry.
