Thanksgiving day is a national holiday celebrated primarily in the United States and Canada as a day of giving thanks for the blessing of harvest and for the preceding year. It's is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November in US and second Monday of October in Canada.

So yesterday was Thanksgiving in the US and some of our Nigerian celebrities like Mercy Johnson, Uche Jumbo, Comedian Seyi Law and others decided to partake in the celebration.
