At least four people were killed by a suicide bomber in Potiskum, Yobe state.
According to Channels TV, the suicide bomber who pretended to be a passenger entered Bulala Motor Park near Fika junction, along Bauchi- Jos road and detonated the improvised explosive device.
Four died on the spot.
A source told Channels that;
The explosion went off around 9:50 Sunday morning at the Bulala motor park close to Ibal filling station along Jos road.He said apart from the four killed on the spot, the bomber also died in the process with 35 injured victims taken to the Potiskum general hospital.
As I speak, we counted 5 dead bodies but so many others injured and are being conveyed to a nearby hospital in Potiskum for immediate medical attention”, he said.
Sunday’s explosion is the third within the space of three weeks in Potiskum, the largest commercial city in Yobe state, north-east Nigeria.
