No fewer than 10 vehicles were destroyed on Monday during an attack by hoodlums on Aishat Buhari, and Mrs Dolapo Osinbajo wives of APC presidential/ vice-presidential candidates.
The incident took place at the popular Ilorin film house area, a stone throw from the Emir’s palace.
The Kwara State APC chairman, Hon. Ishola Balogun- Fulani, who addressed a press conference Monday night alleged that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) was behind the attack.
According to him, the attack was masterminded by a well known chieftain of the PDP from Kwara Central.
“We also have it on good authority that two of the PDP hoodlums have been apprehended by the police.
“We are using this medium again to call on the police and other security agencies to be on the alert and call PDP to order”, he stated.
