The Harlem-bred rapper was arrested early Wednesday morning (Dec. 16) for allegedly biting a security guard’s breast at a New York.
According to E! News, the rapper was charged with assault, disorderly conduct and harassment. She apparently assaulted a female security guard outside of club Up&Down in the city’s Meatpacking District.
NYPD reports that the rapper “became verbally abusive and began to push the victim and bit victim on the breast causing swelling and redness.” As a result of her actions, Banks was escorted out of the venue at 12:46 a.m.
Here’s a breakdown of what a source reveals went down to cause the “Wallace” rhymer to bite security. After attending an event at Up&Down with an invited guest, Banks was turned away by security once she attempted to enter a private party downstairs. She was instructed that a stamp on her hand was necessary to enter. This seemed to infuriate Banks because the employees weren’t aware of who she was, but she got a stamp anyway and headed to the party.
Apparently vexed that no one recognized her “as a celebrity,” an altercation ensued and she spit in the owner’s face. While the security guard was escorting Banks out for her reportedly shocking behavior, that’s when things went from bad to worse. A pushing match ensued and the “Ice Princess” rapper chose to go for an attack on the guard’s boob.
Banks certainly has a history of being hot-headed. Just last month, she was being investigated for an incident that also involved a security guard at a club in Los Angeles. She was caught on camera striking security after an attempt was made to remove her from the club for unruly behavior.
