No date yet for Chibok girls release - Presidency

Presidency has distance itself from reports that it fixed a date in conjuction with Boko Haram for the release of the abducted chibok girls.

Senior Special Assistant to the President on Public Affairs, Dr Doyin Okupe, said, The Federal Government did not choose October 20 or any other date with Boko Haram, in the widely publicized cease fire deal.

Okupe, took to his twitter to wade off criticism of the Federal Government on the botched cease fire deal.
"Nobody said the Chibok girls would be released on Monday (October 20). It was just a mischievous rumor to set Government up. He tweeted.
