Jimi Agbaje Says He'll Cancel Lekki-Epe Toll Gate If Elected

Jimi Agbaje, the governorship aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in Lagos State, has declared his intention to cancel the Lekki-Epe toll gate, if elected as governor of the state.
According to him, the toll gate is unsustainable as it is standing on an existing road, however, adding that the Lekki Phase 1 inner bridge would remain since it was built from scratch by the concessionaire company.
During an interactive session with the Muslim community in Lagos on Wednesday, January 14, Agbaje commended Governor Babatunde Fashola for some of the feats recorded in the State, but also stated that change is what Lagosians need, as opposed to the ‘continuity’ being preached by the All Progressives Congress.
The PDP governorship aspirant, however, added that the successes of Fashola’s administration has not been felt by ordinary Lagosians, whom he said were totally alienated from governance.
Furthermore, Agbaje stated that most of the problems affecting the state are products of a “vested interest.”

  1. Good talk sir, hope we would not have to remind you or pressure from others makes turn your back on it. I think it is better for Lagosians to have your manifest. These days we do not know party manifest unlike the days of UPN and NPN so sad, i wonder what they stand to campaign at their rallies.
