The current Boko Haram killings has garnered international attention and Madonna isn't the only one. The likes of Nicki Minaj, Solange Knowles, Angelina Jolie and Common, have also condemned the act.
The 56-year-old music star to her Instagram page this morning, to show support to the victims of Baga massacre and described the act as "barbaric and heartbreaking".
She shared a picture showing a couple of Northern girls, with the following caption;
“Why arent we talking about Nigeria? Boko Haram has killed 2000 people in an attack in Northern Nigeria! BArbaric and heartbreaking! We must stop the violence and support Nigerian people! #iamnigeria #revolutionoflove”
She added; “The people of Nigeria matter too! I am not just Charlie #iamnigeria #rebelheart”
Everyone is talking but so sad that our dear government do not value lives in this part of the world, until any of their relation is touched no action is required only lip service.
