Unknown gunmen have abducted the Vice Chancellor of the Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Professor Rosamond Green.
Professor Rosammond was said to have been kidnapped on her way home lastnight in Port Harcourt.
The Registrar of the institution, Ikem Adiele after a managment meeting told newsmen that the staff of the University were worried over the shocking abduction of their VC.
The Police in Rivers State has confirmed the incident.
Meanwhile, the Rivers state Police Command said it has made remarkable achievements in their effort to combat crime in the state.
